PhantomFlightSchool will be at the Cheshire County Show 23 and 24 June 2015
Following the huge interest shown in their flying cameras and aerial surveying at the Royal Bath and Wells Show in May, Chester-based PhantomFlightSchool announced today that they will be appearing next at the Cheshire County Show on 23 and 24 June.
PhantomFlightSchool sell the extraordinary DJI Phantom 3, and also offer the services of their professional CAA-approved pilots to undertake all forms of aerial work, including aerial surveying work for precision agriculture.
The DJI Phantom 3 is a state-of-the-art flying camera that is ready to fly straight out of the box. Retailing for under £900, they have been rated by Wired magazine as the hottest new technology product since the launch of the iPhone.
For their work supporting precision agriculture PhantomFlightSchool use the cutting edgePix4D software together with special thermal imaging data capture hardware on the flying camera to undertake a detailed aerial survey of the chosen agricultural land. By analysing the thermal imaging data in the Pix4D software, fertilizer spraying can be optimized across all of the crops surveyed, boosting production by an average of 15%.
As the name suggests, PhantomFlightSchool are also one of the very few businesses in the country to offer training.
