Two years ago, when people asked us “Can I fly a drone in Central London” our answer was….No. The rules were unclear, and it just felt too risky. Happily, the new Drone Regulations that came into force on 1 January 2021, mean our answer is now “yes it can be done and here is how”.

But how to fly there, safely and legally? On this epic day, we explain the flight planning involved and show you where you can take-off and land safely and legally.

Weather: In the event the forecast is bad, we will contact you to arrange another suitable date for your In a Day experience, or send you a full refund. The good news is, across 1,000s of lessons delivered over six years, fewer than 10% of lessons need to be rearranged because of the weather. The weather in the UK is not that bad!
