National Drone Photography Awards 2020:

Terms and Conditions

  1. Prizes: There will be a winner and runner up in each category with three overall winners. Winners will be celebrated on the PhantomFlightSchool website.
  1. Photos can be submitted in the following categories:
    1. Landscape and Seascape
    2. Overseas
    3. People
    4. Cities and the Built Environment
    5. Abstract / Open
    6. The Year 2020
  1. You may enter a maximum of ten images, across all categories.  You may enter images in any number of categories, up to a maximum of ten images in total.
  1. All entries must be received by midnight on Thursday 31st December 2020. Images submitted after this date will not be eligible for an Award. PhantomFlightSchool reserves the right to extend the entry period at any time.
  1. Winners will be announced at The PhantomFlightSchool Virtual Awards Evening on Saturday 30th January 2021.
  1. Images must be submitted to PhantomFlightSchool via WooBox using the link in our “National Drone Photography Awards” blog. Any other form of submission will not be accepted
  1. When submitting an entry you must include all of the following information:
    1. Your name
    2. Where the image was taken
    3. Which category you are entering the image in
  1. The Small Print
    1. Judging will be carried out by a panel of PhantomFlightSchool’s multi-award winning photographers. The judges’ decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
    2. By submitting an image in this Competition, you confirm that you are the copyright holder of the image and that it is your original work. Anyone found to have entered an image that is not their original work will be disqualified
    3. Entrants retain copyright over all photographs submitted. By entering a photo in the Competition you agree that your submission may be used by PhantomFlightSchool for promotional purposes
    4. Entry is open to everyone: recreational drone pilots just starting out; pro photographers who fly drones; professional drone pilots who take photographs, and everyone in between. There is no upper or lower age limit for Competition entrants
    5. This year, only photos will be considered for an award. No videos will be accepted.
    6. There is no fee to enter the Competition and you do not have to attend the Virtual Awards Dinner Evening on the 30th to enter an image for an Award.
    7. Images entered must have been taken in accordance with the relevant country’s drone legislation
    8. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that any image submitted does not breach the General Data Protection Regulation, nor any other relevant laws or legislation
    9. Participants entering images for an Award do so at their own risk and are solely responsible for their own health and safety
    10. PhantomFlightSchool is not responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by entrants in the process of creating and submitting their photographs
    11. PhantomFlightSchool reserves the right to disqualify entrants found to be breaking any of these terms and conditions
    12. By entering the Competition, all entrants are deemed to have accepted these rules
    13. PhantomFlightSchool reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time

PhantomFlightSchool reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Competition at any time.
